Nick graduated in 2013 from one of the top Architecture programs in the country, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He received a Bachelor’s of Architecture Degree with minors in Construction Management and Sustainable Environments. He then studied abroad in Portugal and Barcelona with the colleges of Urban Design (city planning) and Landscape Architecture. While learning abroad, Nick expanded his interests to include construction and property development, which inspired him to develop his senior thesis regarding the many benefits of interdisciplinary collaboration in the built environment. Seeking employment with a design / build firm where he could utilize his unique perspective and his diverse skillset were the inevitable next step in his professional career.
Nick moved to San Diego in 2014 to pursue a career in Architecture and Construction. He started as both a draftsman and a designer for multiple leading Architecture firms. Due to his hard work and proficiency, he moved on to construction as a Project Engineer. With extensive experience in residential projects ranging from small remodels to multimillion-dollar custom homes, Nick has a specialized approach to any job put before him. In addition to working for top Architecture and Construction firms, Nick started his own company, Next Level Design, where he moonlighted as a designer with his own clients. Nick is continuing to pursue his Architecture license and passion for great design and construction practices. By utilizes his strengths and experience with construction documents, construction management, design, and interdisciplinary collaboration, Nick Northrop ensures that the InDev custom home division moves forward in style within his current role of Project Manager and Construction Manager.
With a background as a highly successful business owner with far reaching ties into the San Diego community, Matt Mellos has an unmatched ability to leverage his relationships to create profitable local opportunities for investors and partners alike. At age 26, Mr. Mellos worked as the catalyst in bringing the necessary individuals together to raise capital and develop San Diego’s premier nightclub, restaurant, and event center in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, Stingaree. His entrepreneurial drive toward lucrative opportunities guided him into the national residential real estate sector, where he effectively flipped a number of single-family homes in a 3-year period averaging over 32% annual return. Matt’s past success in commercial real estate as both an owner and investor creates a unique perspective, providing both his partners and investors with the insight needed to negotiate the most favorable terms possible for a variety of commercial properties, including office, industrial, flex/R&D, retail, and multifamily property types. Taking part in local politics, Matt has been on the Gaslamp Quarter Association’s Board of Directors for the past eight years and has served as a member of the Gaslamp Quarter Association’s Land Use and Planning Committee for the past ten years. Mr. Mellos brought his extensive community network and his history of forming lucrative partnerships to the table to form an investment and development powerhouse, InDev, LLC.

Over the course of his nearly 20-year career, Zac has developed over a billion dollars in mixed-use development projects on both East and West coasts along with select works in the Mid-West. Holding three advanced degrees in industry-related professions along with a CA General Contracting License, he excels at creating one of a kind infill projects that can adapt to, and engage with the people and places who call them home. As Principal at the InDev Companies, he oversees Land Acquisition, Entitlement and Permit Processing, Overall Project Design, Debt and Equity Placement, Construction Project Management, Project Estimating and Construction Implementation. Mr. Stover’s work clearly showcases that when the designers and builders are the developers and decision makers, a more valuable building is the result.
